Mumbai : Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited (Kotak Investment Banking), a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, today announced the appointment of Mr. Pankaj Kalra as Senior Executive Director.

In this role, Pankaj will oversee and guide servicing of a number of large corporate and sectoral relationships. He will report to Mr. TV Raghunath, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Kotak Investment Banking.

Pankaj has close to 2 ½ decades of investment banking experience in India and globally, advising on deals across a wide range of industries. He is a key addition to the senior leadership team at Kotak Investment Banking and his arrival significantly strengthens the firm’s franchise and enhances its client servicing capabilities.

Pankaj joins Kotak Investment Banking from Credit Suisse Securities (India) where he was Managing Director – Investment Banking. Prior to that, he had worked with Merrill Lynch based out of London, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc., as well as DSP Merrill Lynch in Mumbai. Pankaj is a Chartered Accountant and MBA from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
