  • Krannert School of Management to present COVID-19 webinar on current, post-pandemic challenges

    WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Management at Purdue University will host a webinar titled “COVID-19: The Future of Work and Play” from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday (June 10).

    The event is the fourth installment of the COVID-19 Impact Webinar series. It is free and open to the public, and will be streamed live on Krannert School of Management’s Facebook page.

    The live video will feature faculty experts discussing what a “new normal” might look like for work life and favorite pastimes. Questions can be submitted via the comments area on the live video.

    Featured speakers are:

    * Ellen Ernst Kossek, the Basil S. Turner Professor of Management and research director of the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence, will present “Work-Life Balance When Home Is Your Office.”

    * Brad Alge, associate professor of management, will present “How to Work and Manage Virtually.”

    * James B. Dworkin, chancellor emeritus of Purdue University North Central and professor of management, will present “The Big Four: Will Pro Sports Resume in 2020?”

    The Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Management prepares leaders for a diverse global workforce and supports women, starting from pre-college and extending throughout their careers. The center strives to influence research, education and business practices for the advancement of women in the workplace.
