New York: Lebron Jordan Inc. announces today there will be a delay in the release of its 2012 line. “The pre-release of the new Lebron Jordan sneaker line will be delayed,” announced Damon Jordan, VP of Marketing and Product Development. “Due to a breakdown in communication between our design staff and manufacturer, it appears that the images released to us were for an already existing product. The whole premise behind the launch of this new line is to give the consumer an original, innovative and authentic look to their footwear.”

“We have come face to face with the disadvantages of outsourcing projects to outside entities,” said Jordan. “The next top sneaker designer was birthed from this breakdown in communication. Lebron Jordan Inc. launched a product it thought was an original, but was in fact a duplicate of another product. In an effort to ensure this never happens again, we have decided to look for the best and brightest at home. Are you the ‘Next Top Sneaker and Urban Apparel’ designer? “It is difficult to oversee a project which requires the cooperation of multiple companies, some of which are abroad. We simply don’t have the control we would like in terms of our overseas partners in China. Because of communication barriers, signals become crossed. We promise to be more diligent in ensuring that the product we deliver in the future is both original and refreshing,” continued Jordan.

The contest is simple: sneaker designers, as well as urban apparel wear designers, submit their designs to the Company via email, or regular mail, with detailed contact information. If the Company likes the designs, it will contact you for an interview, offer you employment, or buy the designs outright. “It’s a win, win situation for potential designers. They have an opportunity to either be on our team or be paid for their work,” concluded Jordan. All submissions must be in high resolution formats.
