Hyderabad  : Lodge Keys sponsored School at K.L. Charynagar, Shamshabad was inaugurated today by Mr. T. Prakash Goud, MLA – Rajendranagar. Lodge Keys No. 297, a primary unit of Freemasonry contributed Rs.5 lakhs towards construction of the primary school building in the slum area. The funds were raised by Lodge Keys through a unique Best Signature Contest it had organized for its charity project. The inauguration of the K.L. Charynagar Primary School was graced by Mr. Balraj, Headmaster of the School; Mr. Narising Rao, MEO; Mr. Vijay K. Beerval, Worshipful Master, Lodge Keys No.297’ Mr. P. Veerabhadrudu, Past Master; Mr. D. Ramchandram, Project Chairman; Mr. Jayani, Mr. Sagar, Mr. Hari, Mr. Lakshminarayana, Mr. Madhusudhan Bojja, Mr. Rakesh Kumar and other members of the organization. Scores of children too were present on the occasion and were given away sweets, etc. The school has been constructed under the Rajiv Vidya Mission (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan), Andhra Pradesh and has been adopted by Lodge Keys No.297.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. T. Prakash Goud appreciated Lodge Keys for their gesture. The K.L. Charynagar Primary School now boosts of two spacious classrooms with blackboards, etc. and clean toilet and other facilities informed Mr. D. Ramchandram, Project Chairman of Best Signature Contest and School Project of Lodge Keys No.297. Education has the power to uplift and transform a person’s life. We hope that the construction of this school building will pave way for a better future for its students.

In future we plan to organize several activities and donate tables, benches, a library, utensils for Mid-Day meal etc. for the school for the benefit of the students. Efforts will also be made to bring in English teaching facilities, etc. for the benefit of the students, who cannot afford education in good private schools, said D. Ramchandram. We will also have a library with sufficient books for children. We welcome philanthropic individuals who want to create more facilities, willing to donate benches, books and other facilities.

Lodge Keys No.297 is a primary unit of Freemasonry, 3000 years old and one of the oldest secular fraternal society spread across the globe. Freemasonry aims to make good men better. Charity is at the heart of the most Masonic activities. Freemasons are known world over for their philanthropic activities and contributions to many fields’ viz., education, disaster relief, etc.
