MADE EASY SCHOOL, Gurugram had twin celebrations to mark its First Annual Day. On 17th of December, the Student Exhibition – ‘Kaleidoscope’ was inaugurated by Shri Vinay Pratap Singh (IAS), the Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram. All the members of the staff, students and the management headed by Mr. B Singh, CMD MADE EASY GROUP, were there to welcome him.

The exhibition stood on the four pillars of Health – Eat right to live a healthy life; Art – the diverse artforms spanning the country; Sustainability – the need to preserve the planet and Community Outreach – depicted the ‘Kerala floods and the Thailand cave’ which moved everyone immensely.

He marvelled at the hard work and dedication of the students who chose to build the exhibition from waste materials. Before parting he addressed the students and inspired them to become leaders in their own right. He emphasized that no one is too young to initiate ‘change’.

Students were greatly impressed by his achievements at such a young age and wished to emulate him.

School is a space brought alive by the laughter, pride, frustrations, memories, friendships of the young children who house in it. This space gains significance when its able to instill in children the qualities of living a fulfilling life. The foremost being ‘to be able to flow’.

The students commemorated the same message in their Annual Day titled ‘Pravaah’ on the 18th of December.

The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Guest of honour, Mr. Rangan Dutta, Former Revenue Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Finance Department – State of Meghalaya along with Mr. Abhinav Chaturvedi, who is a renowned cricketer, actor and director

The arduous challenge of metamorphosis was highlighted to serve as a reminder to parents that they need to only assist with the development and growth of their young ones – not jolt them out of their cocoons!
‘Sapt Matrika’ formed the core of the event. This play depicted the 7 facets of a mother, namely , Garbdharini, Vasundhara, Shatrumata, Gaumata, Dhatrika, Gurumata and Durga. The scenes from Mahabharata , Mother Nature, sacrifice of Panna Bai and Jijabai, Yashoda’s selfless dedication to Krishna reverberated in the amphitheatre. The play rightfully concluded by saluting the indomitable spirit of each and every mother to whom WE all owe our existence.
