  • Magma Fincorp holds its 1st Painters’ Workshop in Ahmedabad

    Ahmedabad : Magma Fincorp, one of India’s leading retail asset finance companies, as part of their CSR program organized the 1st edition of its DSC_0003painters’ workshop in Ahmedabad today. The initiative aims to promote and encourage art and upcoming talents in the city. Mr. Suryakant Mishra, Associate Vice President, Magma Fincorp Ltd was present for the two day Painters’ Workshop in the city.

    The 2 day painting workshop witnessed 15 talented city artists creating masterpieces on the canvas. The event was graced by internationally renowned painter Mr. Vrindavan Solanki who encouraged the participants and applauded Magma’s initiative.

    “Gujarat has always been known for its art and culture and has over the years given birth to many a talent in the fields of literature, art and culture. We at Magma have always encouraged and nurtured such talents through our painting workshops.  We started this initiative seven years back from Kolkata and have since Artist Vrindavan Solanki   interacting with budding painters of ahmedabad (1)then been replicating it in various cities across the country”, said Mr. Suryakant Mishra, Associate Vice President, Magma Fincorp Ltd.

    This is Magma’s first painting workshop in Ahmedabad. Cochin, Bhubaneswar, Pune, Bangalore, Nagpur, Chandigarh are the few other cities where Magma has been organizing these workshops over the years. “The sea of talent in the city has enthralled us with their creations and we  look forward to many more such workshops in the city in years to come to give these talented painters a platform to showcase their creativity,” added Mr. Mishra.

    The upcoming talents of the city who are participating in this workshop are Rini P Soni, Mauana Harshadbhai Shah, Megha Ashokkumar Parekh, Sadhana R Ojha, Ankit Rathod, Kamlesh B Solanki, Dharmendra Laljibhai Sahani, Deviba Wala, Roma Patel, Jigna gaudana, Vipul Prajapati, Jitu Oghani, Ronak Soparivala, Pulkit Prajapati and Rajesh Patel.
