  • Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council Election won by State Chemist Association with huge margin

    Mumbai: Maharashtra State Chemists & Drugists Association (MSCDA) on all 6 seats with huge margin in the Maharashtra State Medicine Profession CouncilⳠElection held recently. MMCDA Panel was raised under the able guidance of State Association President Mr Jagannath Shinde and Secretary Mr Anil Navandar. This the third consecutive win for the MMCDA.

    Election was held on 29th June at MulundⳠPurandare Hall. Winner candiates were Vijay Pandurang Patil (Sangli 34967 votes), Savita Tukaram Nehte (Thane 34941 vote), Pramod Bansilal Solanki (Ahmednagar 34230 vote), Hirchandra Dharamdas Ganewsha (Nagpur 34070 votes), Anil Sheshrao Haral (Parni 33883 votes), Kailash Kaluramji Sarda (Washim 33621 votes). Altogether election saw fight between 21 candidates. In all 45280 Chemist voters had exercised there rights. Seventh number candidate received only 7500 vote. Election Officer was Ashok Giri.

    Elected representatives have changed the face of Council completely. Organisation Co-ordination, Registration Camps, PPP Card Distribution, Computerised office, Pharmacy Week, Establishment of Medicine Information Centre, Professional Guidence were some of the important work done by previous representative, which has significant contribution towards development of Council.

    Election was attraction for Pharmacists from allover the State. All previous promise has been fulfilled. Mr. Jagannath Shinde, Mr. Anil Navandare thanked all for there co-operation in making this election huge success. Each & every related with the council gave huge support to Panel which got converted into huge success.
