  • Marlabs to Host Educational Conference on Microsoft and Emerging Technologies

    Mysore:  Marlabs, a leading provider of innovative Information Technology services, announced today that it is conducting an Educational Initiative on Microsoft and other emerging technologies on December 16th, Friday in Mysore. This program tailor -made for the benefit of student from Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities will be conducted in partnership with RiiiT, a provider of software products for the education vertical.  A total of 240 students are expected to participate and benefit from Marlabs’ Emerging Technologies orientation. The conference will be held at the RiiiT campus and will feature interactive sessions on Windows Phone 7, Microsoft Surface, JQuery, Model–View–Controller (MVC) framework and HTML5.

    “Information Technology is evolving at a rapid pace with a flurry of new technologies making their way into the IT landscape and creating tomorrow’s high-growth opportunities,” saysAnil Raghavan, Chief Delivery Officer, Marlabs “This initiative will provide an opportunity for students to learn about such emerging technologies as well as industry trends and dynamic, equipping them to face upcoming challenges and opportunities in the IT arena” he further added.

    Channakeshava K.C, Senior Delivery Manager – Marlabs will give the inaugural address. This will be followed by technical sessions and presentations on Windows Phone 7, Microsoft Surface, JQuery Fundamentals, MVC framework and HTML5.  These sessions will be handled by senior members of the Marlabs Microsoft Center of Excellence (CoE).

    “The conference reinforces Marlabs’ committed to continual technology development and sharing knowledge and best practices with the educational community,” says Channakeshava K.C. “Through our Global Centers of Excellence (CoE), we are expanding our technology competence in emerging areas such as Cloud Computing, Mobile, and Microsoft technologies, and the conference will help students stay updated on where Information Technology is headed and how to stay ahead of the curve.” he further added.
