New Delhi: MBD Group, the leading education company in India is all set to kick start Group’s Founder’s Day celebration by organizing “MBD Run for Education presents Mirchi Neon Run’” on 3rd July in Jalandhar. MBD Group has been working for six decades now and has always supported the cause of providing education to all with its mission “for every literate person there should be an MBD book”.

Every year on 10th July, MBD Group celebrates Founder’s Day to mark the birth anniversary of Mr. Ashok Kumar Malhotra, founder of MBD Group. Mr. Malhotra always believed in being a responsible citizen and hence a lot of his initiatives in business and his personal life were aimed at the betterment of the society. The run is a testimony to human fortitude and endurance, which were the core values of Mr. Malhotra.

MBD Run for Education will be flagged off from MBD Neopolis Mall, Jalandhar (owned and managed by The MBD Group) by Punjab’s Honorable Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema. Many dignitaries from Punjab, Haryana as well as Delhi will also present at this grand event.

This will be a run where individuals, wearing neon accessories and body paint, will run to cover a distance of 4.5km at night. A host of other activities have also been lined up at the finish line. Neon theme based after-party will be organized with an incredible light display along with live performances by Punjab’s top artists like DJ Bawa and Gautam Sharma from Ecstasy – The Dance Studio to enthrall the crowd. There will also be UV Light zone and Neon photo booth set up for clicking selfies as well as other pictures. Medals, certificates, on-the spot gifts and t-shirts will also be distributed among the participants to add to the festivity.
