New Delhi: An Intellectual Meet was organized at the Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College & Safadarajng Hospital auditorium where doctors and other intellectuals from the local residential areas came together to discuss issues of collective socio-political importance.

The meet was organized by Meenakshi Lekhi, who is the Member of Parliament from New Delhi constituncy and also a long-time national spokesperson of the Bhartiya Janata Party.

“I aimed to organize small-scale meets on local levels for targeted social groups, such as the professionals, who are normally less vocal on issues of our collective importance and hence, wished to hear their voices. I want to decentralize the intellectual discourse of society and hence, I look forward to organizing many such low-intensity, high-impact Intellectual Meets in my constituency in days to come”, said Lekhi.

The participants expressed their views on Modi government’s programs and policies and it’s performance over the past 4 years, with great enthusiasm.
