  • MeritTrac delivers 4.8 million assessments and evaluations in 6 months

    Mumbai : MeritTrac, India’s largest assessment company today announced the completion of 4.8 million assessments and evaluations from April 2014 to November 2014. The assessments were done for leading Corporate, Government Departments, Public Sector Undertakings, and Educational bodies like Universities & boards. They have been delivered across 197 cities in computer and paper modes. MeritTrac has already supported 131 organizations this year including 91 corporates, 29 educational institutions and 15 Government Departments and PSUs in managing exam related process. MeritTrac also helped over 100 recruiting organizations assess skills of over 8 lakh candidates. MeritTrac continued its surge in the International markets by scaling up its off-shore marking capability. Apart from continuing to deliver large scale assessments for prestigious clients, MeritTrac has entered into strategic partnership with global Industry leaders to offer next generation, contextualised assessments in India. MeritTrac has also introduced new assessments for corporate recruitment and employability enhancement.

    During this period, MeritTrac has helped one of the largest technology Universities administer Entrance examinations assessing around 2 lakh candidates in 113 (Indian and International) cities in the computer based mode. This is one of the largest entrance examinations administered by a Private University. The transformational On-Screen Marking service from MeritTrac – TracMARKS, has helped a national school board transform its marking process from paper based marking to digital evaluation. Over 0.8 million answer scripts were evaluated this year using TracMARKS.

    MeritTrac assisted a large Municipal Corporation in India to recruit over 900 staff using a multi-day computer based exam. This exam also included a typing test in local language. Over 70,000 candidates appeared for the examination. With the business sentiments improving, corporates are having an upbeat hiring season. There has been a hiring growth of over 40%, led mainly by large IT / ITeS MNCs.

    MeritTrac announced strategic partnership with Proxor, a Carnegie Mellon University spinoff that will help the company offer proven software development assessment – Software Development Examination to IT companies and aspiring software developers. This assessment is developed by the Carnegie Mellon University and has been used for over a decade.  MeritTrac is also partnering First Advantage. This partnership  will allow MeritTrac deliver reputed behavioural assessments in areas like Managerial Success and Employee Retention developed by First Advantage group company – Findly.

    Graduate Employability assessment (GEA) – an employability enhancement program based purely on continual assessments, is yet another solution introduced by MeritTrac. This solution will help educational institutions and students identify their employability gaps with a series of assessments. Actionable insights provided through GEA can be used to design training plans that will help enhance employability among graduates.
