DD Sports, DD national and Doordarshan Urdu aired the live telecast of XIX Commonwealth Games armed with Monarch Virtuoso 3000 HD and Monarch Virtuoso 500 SD. The games kicked off in a grand way with its opening ceremony held on 3rd of October on Sunday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. Since, the opening of the games Monarch Virtuoso 3000 HD, a 3 Camera Input Trackless Virtual Studio System generated content in HD and Monarch Virtuoso 500, 5 Camera Input Trackless Virtual Studio System generated content in SD all through the event covering the pre-game and post game analysis throughout the day.

The Monarch Virtuoso 3000 HD is part of DD’s HD armor installed at International Broadcast Centre prepared specially for the XIX Commonwealth Games in Delhi and Monarch Virtuoso 500 SD installed at CPC for DD Urdu.

Monarch Virtuoso has acted as an enabler for DD to generate 3D virtual environment customized to cover XIX Commonwealth Games in HD and SD using very little resources in terms of studio space, lights, power and at the same time, helped the environment by not constructing physically sets of wood and other material, all this in a very short time.
