  • Mrs. India 2015-Priyanka Khurana Goyal flags off Foundation Program for iFEEL’s 2015-17

    Mumbai: Institute for Future Education, Entrepreneurship and Leadership – iFEEL, announced its foundation program recently in Lonavala. The program Mrs.-India-2015-at-iFeel-(6was flagged was of by a panel of prominent personalities from various sectors.

    This panel was adorned by Ms. Priyanka Khurana Goyal, Mrs. India 2015, IIM Calcutta alumni and Executive Director, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities Pvt. Ltd.  During the inauguration she shared two most things in her life which has helped her climb the ladder of success. One of which was the incident when she was hired by Lehman Brothers from the campus but due to the meltdown in 2008, the company vanished overnight and Priyanka had to re-build her career from scratch . The second thing is her 2 year old toddler who inspires her with all the energy and power.

    A woman who successfully carries out the role of a mother, housewife and professional and is a blend of Beauty and Brains, Priyanka added a new dimension to the Panel.  Her mantra in life is to keep learning from people, incidences, pets, babies, plants just about anything to chart out your success.

    Apart from Priyanka, Mr. Nayan Patel, Executive Director Packam Controls Pvt., and Mr. G Chandrashekhar, Associate Editor of Hindu Business Line, Economist and Agri-business expert  and iFEEL’s Dean Dr. Sanjay Salunkhe also shared their valuable experience and gave insightful advice to the students.

    Priyanka won the Mrs. India Queen of Substance pageant in February 2015. She is the first investment banker to win this pageant. A wife, mother & working professional, Priyanka decided to take a step forward and work towards empowering & encouraging other married women in India to take up innovative work. To do this Priyanka took part in the prestigious Mrs. India, Queen of Substance pageant organized by the Handicapped Children and Women’s Aid (HWCA). After successfully gunning through 7 rounds of qualification, Priyanka beat 24 other contestants to be crowned “Mrs. India, Queen of Substance”. Priyanka is currently working with various initiatives and NGOs for Nature conservation, women empowerment and children welfare. This exercise will help her represent the truest identity of India at the Mrs. Earth, Queen of Substance title in Jamaica this October.
