  • New England Wellness Solutions Welcomes Bryan Duong LAC, MAOM, to the Practice

    WEYMOUTH and HANOVER:New England Wellness Solutions (http://newellnesssolutions.com), a full-service family practice providing comprehensive healthcare services including acupuncture therapy, cupping therapy and Chinese medicine is pleased to announce the Bryan Duong LAC, MAOM has joined the practice and will be treating patients at both the Hanover and Weymouth clinics.

    A native of Massachusetts, Duong joins his brother Jimmy Chung Duong LAC, MAOM in the practice he founded in 2010. The brothers are the fourth generation to practice eastern medicine. Duong specializes in orthopedic pain, gastrointestinal issues and mental health. In addition his sub-specialties include back, neck and knee pain, digestion improvement, insomnia and stress and anxiety,

    In his earlier years, Duong focused on learning aspects of western medicine. He obtained a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University. During his journey towards medical school, he realized that his ideals contrasted from the current medical model. He then studied acupuncture after discovering that it’s a safe, effective medicine that helps people avoid potentially harmful medications. He graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University with both Masters in Acupuncture and Masters in Oriental Medicine degrees (MAOM). He is a licensed Acupuncturist with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

    A resident of Randolph, Duong is scheduled to begin work on his doctorate in acupuncture at through the program at Pacific College. He is a member of Business Network International in Marshfield.

    “I have always wanted to treat patients and work in the health care profession and my journey has led me to eastern medicine,” said Duong. “I enjoy the opportunity to treat patients and have them leave the office visit feeling better than when they came in.”
