On the occasion of Haldhar Agri Expo 2014 at Lal Parade Ground , Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh,New Holland Fiat (India) Pvt Ltd. has signed an MOU with the Government of Madhya Pradesh for establishing new training centre in the state and providing innovative products for mechanization of sugarcane harvesting, cotton mechanisation, Corn mechanisation and  Biomass management. Training in high tech equipment provides the opportunity for sustainable farm mechanization to facilitate rapid agricultural growth through efficient utilization of inputs and the state Government has been very aggressive to take the mechanization forward in the state. To initiate sustainable mechanization of sugarcane and other crops, the company is partnering with the Directorate of Agriculture Engineering (Government of MP) for setting up new Agri training center to provide the requisite training in using these agricultural machines and their technology, as well as transferring its know-how and expertise to all the stakeholders including farmers, operators, technicians ,cane teams and department officers of MP Govt.

Besides the training centre, New Holland Fiat India has also taken the responsibility to provide its range of innovative mechanization solutions consisting of Sugarcane harvesters, Biomass & forage requirements, Planters & Fertilizer broadcasters. Under the MOU, the Government of MP will provide all the necessary backup and support in establishing this training centre.

Mr. Gaurav Sood (Head, Crop Solutions) , New Holland Fiat India Pvt Ltd speaking on the occasion said, scarcity of skilled labour has made farm mechanization the need of the hour and it is a crucial time to join hands with the govt of MP, which is actively initiating and driving the transforming changes in the state Agri Industry. This MOU will provide us an opportunity to create awareness of the specialized products to the farmers and educate them to adopt the right farming practices. This will facilitate usage of more eco-friendly and efficient agricultural practices to give enhanced productivity and create more employment opportunities for the youth.

The company also displayed extensive range of farm mechanization equipments like Sugarcane Harvester, Baler, Rake and Pneumatic Planter .

New Holland Fiat India has attained the leadership position in the Sugarcane Harvester segment in the Indian market by seeding in more than 400 cane harvesters so far. The other specialized farm mechanization products are also witnessing growing demand. Owing to the current scenario in agriculture sector and need of specialized  farm mechanization equipments for farming, the  company is in the process of establishing additional manufacturing plant in Chakan, Pune.

On this occasion, New Holland Fiat India also unveiled its new EXCEL series tractor – 6010 (60 HP) model which is fitted with IVECO series engine, the new tractor offers for the first time in India, a unique combination of a plethora of advanced features like Cat Eye headlamps, 12+12 syncro shuttle transmission, a spacious flat deck, suspended pedals, multi-speed PTO, Lift-O-Matic with height limiter, lift capacity of up to 2500 kgs and a fuel tank capacity of 100 liters.

Currently, Madhya Pradesh has a tractor market of around 90,000 tractors per year. Supported by the presence of growing network of 125 customer touch points consisting of main Dealers, Satellite Dealers, Dealer branches, Authorised Service Centers & Spokes, New Holland Fiat India is growing a market share with more than 27000 tractors already in operation in the state.
