    recognized Star Export House has shown impressive results for the financial year ended 31st March 2013. The total turnover went up to Rs.136.43 crore, against Rs. 92.68 crore in the previous year ended  31st March 2012. Net profit after tax increased to Rs. 1.61 crore, which was Rs.46.32 lakhs   in the last year. Thus net profit  increasing by 248%.

    NHC Foods Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture & export of a wide range of whole & ground spices, oilseeds, food grains and animal feeds to 60 plus countries across the globe. The company has more than 200 international customers.

    Mr. Apoorva Shah, Chairman & Managing Director of NHC Foods Ltd. stated that the company would raise Rs. 2500 Lakhs from Qualified Institutional Placements (QIP) shortly. He further stated that the company is exploring various avenues of investments which would put company on a growth path. Companies’ domestic initiative under the brand name “SAAZ MASALA” have evoked very good response in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat, where the same has been launched. The company is exploring various avenues to tap the unorganized Masala Market in the domestic segment. Presently, the company is offering 24 variants of Masalas under its brand “SAAZ” in domestic market.

    NHC Foods Ltd. have been awarded Certificate Of Merit from the Spices Board (Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India) in NHC Productrecognition of outstanding performance in the export of spice & spice products for the year 2011 -12. The award has been received by the company from Shri Anand Sharma, Union Minister for Commerce & Industry at the award distribution function held at Taj Vivanta, Kovalam, Trivandrum on 26th April 2013.

    NHC Foods Ltd. has recently bagged the order for supply ‘Saaz Brand’ products to “UP State Employees Welfare Nigam”. With this “NHC SAAZ” Brand will mark its presence in Northern parts of India, which is the largest state of our country, and the company is expecting to sell around 4 million packs worth approximately Rs. 80 to Rs. 90 million of basic and blended spices under its Brand “SAAZ”.

    NHC Foods Ltd. has state of the art manufacturing plant spread over 4.50 acres in Pardi, near Valsad, Gujarat.

    NHC Foods Ltd. is the only BSE listed company in the domestic spice industry.
