    The story revolves around the inspiring journey of Dr. Sneha. She represents the young Indian woman of today, who thrives on Left to Right- Feroz Abbas Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Poonam Muttreja, Tripurari Sharam, Soha Ali Khan, Minal Vaishnav (NXPowerLite)challenges.

    Emotionally torn between family and society, between professional aspirations and personal commitment, her struggles and triumphs form the core of this memorable soap opera. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but it will also make you think. It is television like you’ve never seen before.

    Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon will go on air on DD at 7 pm every Saturday and Sunday from March 8, 2014.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tripurari Sharan, Director General, Doordarshan said, “Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon, the exciting new serial on Doordarshan, has a riveting storyline and cast that will appeal to all ages, especially the young viewers. Our audience will benefit from a serial that is hugely entertaining and much more, the serial will inspire them to reflect, think and act.”

    Mr Feroz Abbas Khan, Creative Director of the project, said, “Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon is not just a television series, it is entertainment with social responsibility. This programme challenges the regressive social ideas, female stereotyping and gender insensitivity that many of the soap operas propagate.”

    “It is an attempt to unleash the power of television to be an agent of change. We are telling a compelling story about real people, real issues, real pain and real joy,” he further added.

    Ms Poonam Muttreja, Executive Director, PFI, said, “Main Kuch Bhi Kar Sakti Hoon challenges deep rooted social issues like child marriage, early pregnancies and sex selection in our society. It deals with the very important topics of women’s safety, health and rights.”
