New Delhi; About 111 people died of Influenza A H1N1  lasst week while 1038 have been tested positive in different parts of the country during the same period.

According to an official report in Maharashtra tops the list in deaths with 42 succmbing to the viral attack. In Gujarat- 29 , in Madhya Pradesh-14, Delhi-10, Uttar Pradesh-3, Haryana-2, Uttarakhand-2, Puducherry-2, Andhra Pradesh-2, Kerala-2,  Punjab-1, Himachal Pradesh-1, and Chhattishgarh-1. have been reported dead due to H1N1 during the week ended on 19th September, 2010.

Till date, samples from183027persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 in Government Laboratories   and a few private Laboratories across the country and 43283 (23.64%) of them have been found positive, the report said.
