New Delhi- Artist Atul Dhir hosted the opening ceremony of the Photography Exhibition ” Awakening of the Dawn- Sukhothai”. The event took place at Academy of Fine Arts and Literature, 4\6, Siri Fort Auditorium. The exhibition was inaugurated by The Chief Guest Runjuan Tongrut, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand. The exhibition was a series of photographs taken by Atul Dhir at Sukhothai, the ancient former capital city of Thailand and captures a bygone age of beauty and wonder. Accompanying this stunning photo-art exhibition is a superb coffee table book, “Awakening of the Dawn – Sukhothai,” was launched which contains many more beautiful images of this ancient city of wonders.

The gathering was mesmerized with the presence of Guest who were Aradhana Kakkar, Vimi Singh, Interior Designer Punam Kalra, Actor Abhinav Chaturvedi, Sonal Jindal and Prakshi Sharma and others.

The word Sukhothai means quite literally, dawn of happiness, and this beautifully restored ruined city is credited as the birthplace of the Thai alphabet.
