New Delhi: A whopping three lakh pilgrims from various parts of the country and outside thronged the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi during the nine-day Navratra festivals.

Shrine board officials said, on an average, over 30,000 enthusiastic devotees paid obeisance at the cave shrine every day braving a tough terrain by trekking the 13-kilometre-long serpentine road.
