Petrol price up by 70 paise per litre & Diesel 50 paise

Petrol will be dearer by 70 paise and diesel by 50 paise per litre from midnight tonight. The hike is exclusive of state taxes.
With this, petrol will now cost 71 rupees and 28 paise per litre in Delhi, 74 rupees and 49 paise in Chennai, 78 rupees and 61 paise in Mumbai and 78 rupees and 64 paise in Kolkata.
While, Diesel will cost 51 rupees and 40 paise a litre in Delhi, 55 rupees and 74 paise in Kolkata, 58 rupees and 23 paise in Mumbai and 54 rupees and 76 paise in Chennai.
Indian Oil Corporation said that the hike in the prices was necessiated due to the increase in International prices.
