The Planning Commission on Thursday approved and annual plan outlay of 53,000 crore rupees for Andhra Pradesh for the year 2013-14.

This was finalised at a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N.Kiran Kumar Reddy.

On plan performance , Mr Ahluwalia said the State has been doing well in all sectors. He said that State has been following Planning Commission’s policy of more inclusive growth with focus on farmers and under privileged.

During the meeting, Mr Reddy said that the State would target a growth rate of ten per cent during 12th plan.
