Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of Council of Ministers in New Delhi today.

Sources said, during the meeting, Mr Modi will review the progress of NDA government’s flagship schemes and the agenda for the last year of the current NDA rule.

Our correspondent reports, the meeting is expected to deliberate on farm distress and the government’s efforts to provide relief to them through various initiatives.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bhima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up funding scheme, Mudra Yojana among others schemes will also be reviewed at the meeting. All Union Ministers have been asked to attend the crucial meeting, which will be held at Parliament House. The last such meeting took place seven months ago.
