New Delhi:  PMR, a complete end to end service provider for mobility needs catering to relocation within India and overseas recently got into a partnership with a Bangalore based service provider “Housejoy”. Housejoy, an on-demand home service marketplace, will support PMR with handyman jobs pan India. This association is seen as a big step in PMR’s efforts to render easy home services as it will make settling in into a new house much easier for its users.

Speaking on the association, Ms. Aakanksha Bhargava, CEO & President, PMR said, “We are trying to build a complete market place for people who are planning to relocate from one place to another. Earlier, customers forced to deal with different vendors while setting up their new home. Presently, we are trying to offer all the services required to set up a home with just a click of a button with only one person to look upto for all the services.”

She further added that “There are a number of heavy electronic products which need to be carried and fitted with care when one is moving house without causing damage to them. If this work is undertaken by customers, it tends to cost them a lot of money, time and effort. With Housejoy on board, shifting into one’s dream house and starting a new life with all the essential home appliances will be a relatively hassle-free task. We are happy to partner with them to strengthen our relocation services pan India.”

Housejoy co-founders, Arjun Kumar and Sunil Goel look forward to this tie-up as a remarkable opportunity to expand their service network to a broader range of customers. Sunil Goel said, “We recognized a gap in the relocation industry and are aspiring to fill that in by providing supplementary services to PMR, at no cost to the user. For example, we take care of un-installation and safe installation of electrical appliances. We also help the user settle in their new house by providing home services like plumbing, carpentry, electrical etc. on an on-call basis.” The founders also talked about partnership as a win-win-win for PMR, Housejoy and the users. “Developing a supplementary partnership like this helps PMR to better service its users, and helps us in leveraging our core competencies with the target audience”, says Arjun.

Housejoy is managing home services that may be required by a user before/after moving in into a new house. Be it washing machines, AC’s, Water purifiers, Geysers, light fixtures, inverters, batteries – the clients enter their new home with all the appliances ready to use from Day 1.
