With a career spanning over a decade and a half, Prasad Rao is all set to steer overall operations at Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur, with a focus on service excellence, customer experience and business

Courtyard by Marriott Gorakhpur has announced the appointment of Prasad Rao as its General Manager. With over 15 years of innovative leadership in the hospitality industry, Prasad brings extensive experience to his new role. He will spearhead operations, manage budgets, foster seamless communication and coordination among his team of associates and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Prasad has played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of several hotel ventures, contributing significantly towards crafting policies, standard operating procedures, and the enhancement of overall operational efficiency. His illustrious career, marked by remarkable achievements at esteemed establishments positioning him as a driving force behind the hotel’s journey towards excellence.

Notably, Prasad commenced his career with JW Marriott Hotels. He worked as an Assistant Events Manager at Goa Mariott Resort & Spa, after which he was associated with several properties of the hotel chain in leadership positions. Throughout his career, he also worked across several positions in the Food and Beverage department of leading hotels, like Accor Hotels – Novotel Pune, Radisson Hotel Group, Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, and Hilton Hotels Worldwide.

A graduate in Hotel Management, Food and Beverage Service from the National Council for Hotel Management, IHM Goa, Prasad is renowned for his analytical skills, business acumen, and strategic planning capabilities. His diverse skillsets also include hotel design, concept development, and process improvement and optimisation, giving him a comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality industry.

During his leisure time, Prasad loves to spend time with his daughter and enjoys travelling and reading books.
