  • Rashi Peripherals aims for IT Revolution in India’s C & D cities

    Bengaluru:  Rashi Peripherals, a leading IT distribution company for world’s top IT products in India, announced the launch of CBF- VII – an ambitious program to reach B, C and D cities in India with affordable solutions, personal computing and digital technology products. Rashi’s initiative will usher in an IT revolution in the emerging markets across the country, by bringing to them best brands and the latest products. This initiative will reach to more than 10,000 students and 5000 partners who will be given usage and budget advice.

    The Indian computer hardware market today stands at approx Rs. 35,000 cores and is growing at an annualized rate of 18-20%. The growth drivers are from the emerging B,C & D class cities and towns where the growth is more than 30%.

    CBF VII is the largest and most exhaustive initiative of this kind undertaken by any IT company in India, themed as ‘Possibilities Unlimited’ and will cover 51 cities in a span of 46 days. CBF-VII kicks off today from Jalandar in Punjab and will culminate on December 24, 2011 at Raipur in Chhattisgarh. In these 46 days, CBF-VII will cover 51 B, C and D cities across all corners of the country, and in the course traverse 41,000 kms.

    World’s leading brands and their products will be on live showcase at CBF-VII taken. A mega launch for CBF-VII was held in Mumbai today for major vendors, partners, media and these companies displayed gamut of products particularly for the student community.

    Some of the live demos were AMD- FX8150 processor which is recorded in Guiness Book of World records as the fastest processor. Other major attractions were the world’s slimmest screen LG- D2342P, 23” 3D LED monitor, Logitech Solar Keyboard- K 750, Sony external Blu Ray writer – world’s first BDXL compatible, dual USB powered slim portable Blu-ray Disc rewritable drive, Asus Netbook X101H with aggressive price tag of Rs12490 and ECS MB- P67 black series motherboard which has 15u gold contacts (three times more gold than a normal MB).

    The event also showcased history and success of CBF in past 6 years.CBF-VII this year will cover the following cities.
