Mumbai : RED FM 93.5 Network – India’s leading radio station, has exclusively partnered with the Chevrolet Global Indian Music Awards (GiMA) 2011, for a second successive year. An extension of this partnership is the RADIO SONG OF THE YEAR award presented by RED FM at the star-studded event. Taking a step forward, the radio station is all set to give its listeners a glimpse of the award ceremony with special contests, celebrity bytes and much more straight from the event.

Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP Projects & Programming RED FM 93.5 Network, presented the RADIO SONG OF THE YEAR to the most popular soundtrack – Tere Mast Mast Do Nain from the blockbuster movie Dabangg. This Bollywood chartbuster was picked by RED FM listeners across all HSM from amongst the movies released during 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2011.

In the next two weeks, RED FM brings the euphoria to the airwaves by giving Mumbai an opportunity to battle it out with an interesting on-air contest. 1 lucky listener from Mumbai will get a chance to lay his/her hands on the most coveted Ehsaan Noorani signature series Fender Squier Guitar.

The listeners have to keep an ear out and SMS the right answer to a very simple question – Where was the Chevrolet Global Indian Music Awards held this year? The listeners that call into the radio station with the right answer stand a chance to win through a lucky draw.

Culminating on  October 28th, Mumbai’s most popular RJ – Malishka will announce the name of that 1 lucky listener who will be presented with the Ehsaan Noorani signature series Fender Squier Guitar by none other than noted musician Ehsaan Noorani himself!

The most celebrated actor Shah Rukh Khan will peak the excitement of GiMA on the Sunday Star Sataak with the Chevrolet GIMA Super Hero segment which will be the last of this tri-series on October 30th 2011 from 8am to 10 am.
