Hyderabad : Celebrate and enjoy the best cuisines from across the globe, that too without leaving your own city. A never before event to Hyderabad, is sure to leave you relishing for a long time.

Relish Hyderabad, the Food, Drink and Music Festival to be organised in city at Hitex from 31st October to 2nd November.  The three day festival features city’s 16 hottest resatuarants, who will put up pop-up kitchens with their chefs churning out global specialties. These include: A’la Liberty; The Oriental Blossom,  Tabla,  Seventh Heaven, F Café, Rotis, The Spicy Venue, Four Seasons, Cinnamon Fusion, Little Italy, Simply South, Ziti Comfort, Via Milano, Eat India Company and Igril.

Each of the participating restaurants will have their onsite kitchen and shall be featuring four of their signature dishes and one of their iconic dish, together there will be 80 specialty dishes for the visitors to feast on. Food is served in bite size portions so that they can taste a variety of their choicest cuisines at the most affordable budget prices. The food lovers can enjoy the open air setting with music and entertainment programs.

“The objective of the festival is to tell whole world that the city is the home for all kinds of global cuisines and promote the city as an international city. Relish Hyderabad is part of the “Happening Hyderabad” initiative of the Government of Telangana” informed Mr. K.V. Nagendra Prasad, Chief Operating Officer of HITEX.

“Relish is modeled out a concept known internationallyy, where popular restaurants set-up their pop-up outlets for few days to celebrate food and do things differently than they regularly do at their restaurants. There is competition, celebration and excitement, all built around food”, said Mr. Anil Arora, Director of Mumbai based Next Events, the joint organizers.

The other salient features of the event are Celebrity Chef Theatre, Cookery Contest, Lifestyle Bazar and Kids Zone. The new radio taxi service provider Uber is providing free services to the visitor of Relish Hyderabad

Celebrity Chef Theatre is a concept managed by Culinary Academy of India where the Ten top Chefs of the city will demonstrate their culinary skills

For students, working professionals (other than Food & Beverage Industry) and Home makers, The Relish offers “The Great Hyderabad Home Cook Challenge”, where then can participate to showoff their culinary skills.

Competition will be held in Appetizers and Desserts Categories.  The prelims will be held on 31st and 1st separately for Appetizers and Desserts respectively based on home cooked food, subsequently finals will be held on the concluding day.  This is again managed by Culinary Academy of India.  Winners of this contest will win prizes worth Rupees Two Lakhs

A small lifestyle bazaar and kids zone is part of the event to engage the visitors apart from live music.
