While Indian designers are surely going global taking Indian traditional wear to international platforms only the rarest ones are attaining new heights of recognition. One amongst them is renowned designer Riyaz Gangji who happens to be the only Asian to showcase his collection at the iconic and tallest building in the Big Apple New York City’s One World Trade Center!

UK’s model-turned global fashion sensation Jessica Minh Anh is set to turn America’s tallest building, One World Trade Center in New York City, into a multicultural style destination on 25 June 2014. The fashion entrepreneur will present the first ever catwalk J Summer Fashion Show in the most iconic architectural marvel in NYC much before the building officially opens for public.

Among the ten designers to showcase their creations at the extremely prestigious and history making fashion show is India’s famed ethnic wear specialist Riyaz Gangji who will be showcasing his couture collection.

“The news was astounding and I can’t wait for the fashion show,” says the ecstatic designer who is working extra hours to put together a stupendous collection. “I want to put together a collection that everyone takes notice of. The collection will be themed Black, White and Red with each colour standing for the grief, harmony and peace and that life goes on,” says Gangji.
