  • Royal Caribbean Cruises Named Best Cruise Operator At TTG Travel Awards For The Fifth Consecutive Year

    SINGAPORE : Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is named the Best Cruise Operator

    at the TTG Travel Awards, 2012 for five years in a row. The company was presented the award at the 23rd Annual TTG Travel Awards 2012 Ceremony & Gala Dinner in Bangkok, Thailand this evening.

    Royal Caribbean has been voted unanimously by readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTG-BTmice China and TTGmice for the Award.  The TTG Travel Awards are given out annually to honour organizations in Asia Pacific’s travel industry for their strong commitment towards service excellence.

    Royal Caribbean won the award for offering the best product, services and facilities.  This is exemplified by its Asian-based Legend of the Seas’ and Voyager of the Seas’ innovative and family-friendly onboard offerings such as their signature rock-climbing wall, ice skating rink and Royal Promenade as well as multiple homeports in the region which makes cruising convenient and attractive for its guests. This award also recognises Royal Caribbean for the most professional sales and marketing team in terms of innovative ideas and servicing.

    Royal Caribbean is expanding her presence in Asia this year with the new arrivals of Voyager of the Seas in May, the largest and most innovative cruise ship based in the region, as well as Celebrity Millennium and Azamara Journey this November and December respectively.  Its Legend of the Seas will be starting her final seasons in Hong Kong and Singapore this October, to complete her long-running Asian deployment next April.
