New Delhi : Sahara Welfare Foundation has been awarded the “Corporate Foundation with Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practices” in a glittering Asian Leadership Awards ceremony held at Dubai. Sahara Welfare Foundation was presented with this prestigious award on the basis of CSR work undertaken by the Sahara Group in uplifting the lives of underprivileged in the country and for the humanitarian work being done under the VEDAS (Village Esteem Development Adoption by Sahara) project. This is the first international award that Sahara Welfare Foundation has received as an organisation.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt.
