Mumbai : Salman has often been nicknamed ‘Bhai’ in Bollywood because of his keen eye for not just discovering young actors, but also mentoring them. Salman has played an important role in the success of his former girlfriend Katrina. Grapevine has it that Salman was also roped in to save EshaDoel’s sinking career, and introducing newbie Zarine Khan to the  Bollywood world.

This time however, the big Bhai came to the rescue of not a pretty young girl, but a ‘bad boy’! The bad boy in question happens to be television’s famous baddie,KaranveerVora who made his debut in the serial KasautiZindagi Ki. Karanveer exclusively revealed tozoOm reporters, “I’d have quit TV because of the lack of good roles. However, when I had a conversation with Salman, he told me that I shouldn’t quit television, as it had great potential and it was the next big thing.” Post this conversation, Karanveer got lucky and was given a great offer in Bollywood!
