Senior officials of the G-4 countries called on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday. The officials discussed the bloc’s common agenda seeking reform of the UN Security Council.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in a tweet that Directors General of the G4 countries called on Sushma Swaraj during their quarterly meeting hosted by India in New Delhi.

The G4 a grouping of Brazil, Germany, India, and Japan have been pressing for an early reform of the UN Security Council and expansion of its permanent and non-permanent members.

Sources said, issues relating reform of the UNSC were discussed at the meeting.
