Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind international joint venture in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Singapore’s EtonHouse International Education Group has tied up with Indian promoters of SERRA International to launch chain of international pre-schools across India including in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.

The EtonHouse International Education Group operates 52 schools and pre-schools across Singapore, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and China and has now entered India with a franchised chain, SERRA International Pre-school. Etonhouse is one of the most well respected pre-school chains in Asia and its launch in India marks the arrival of a novel method of pedagogy in ECE. The SERRA curriculum is inspired by globally accepted best teaching/learning practices such as Inquiry-based learning and the Reggio Emilia educational approach of northern Italy. The European approach is one of the most widely practiced educational philosophies in the world with presence in USA, Australia, Middle East, Asia, New Zealand and Europe.
