Chennai : The Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), one of the oldest chamber of commerce in India, announced a Contest for Startups. Themed, “Creating a Sustainable Environment“, the contest is open to startups from South India in 5 sectors i.e.Agriculture – Technology, Energy, Healthcare, Water and Waste Management.

R Ganapathi, President, SICCI said, “The SICCI contest for startups has been constituted to reward and recognize startups that have created a mark in the industry. At a time when the country is going through a period of ecological distress, it is vital for us to create an environment for startups to pioneer more sustainable solutions. We have created a platform for startups that brings together leaders from various industry and industry bodies, to provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to benefit from the knowledge, experience and expert guidance from Industry leaders”.

Any South Indian Startup, having completed 3 to 5 years with a sustainable

There is no registration fee for participating in the contest.
