Hyderabad :  The Southern India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India Hyderabad elects new office bearers for the year 2013-2014.

The Managing committee of Hyderabad Branch of SIRC of ICAI which met has elected its new office bearers and elected CA. Tirupathaiah Yarra the Chairman.  The other office bearers include , CA.Mathesh Reddy K  as the Vice Chairman, CA. Rama Murthy T as Secretary, CA. China Masthan Thalakayala as Treasurer and CA. Ritesh Mittal as Chairman  SICASA-Hyderbad.  The Other Managing Committee Members are CA. Raghunandan V, CA. Chengal Reddy R and CA. Prakash Chokda. They will be in office for one year.

Speaking immediately after the election CA Tirupathaiah, Chairman said Hyderabad branch is the second largest branch in India after Bangalore.  ICAI has 135branches all over India.  Hyderabad Branch of ICAI is 50years old branch and has 6000 CAs and 25000 students on its rolls.

Hyderabad is one of the eight branches in Andhra Pradesh. The other seven branches include Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Tirupathi, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Nellore and Guntur.

Commenting on his plans, Thirupthaiah said besides the goals of our national body, we need to develop more infrastructure and facilities in Hyderabad branch.
