  • Mumbai : Plastivision India 2013 showcase a dedicated section for solar energy to create awareness of the optimum use of solar power in Plastics industry. “Plastic processing units require consistent energy for manufacturing of plastics; the solar pavilion has been introduced in   Plastivision India 2013 with the objective of making the stake holders aware of the productive use of solar energy.” Said Mr. Ashok Mukherjee, Chairman, Solar Energy Pavilion

    Sudden electricity cut down cause’s tremendous waste in terms of money and energy.  The units once shut down require intensive heat to restart. Till date the Industry use generators for plastics industries which results in high consumption of petro products, that in turn increases cost. Use of solar energy enhances the core processing of the plastics resulting in increase in efficiency. At the moment, the Government provides subsidies for encouraging the use of solar energy in plastic industry.

    You might have heard about solar energy used by various industries including plastics industry, for production of many products, but can you imagine a plane flying day and night with the help of solar power and without using a drop of fossil fuel? From the solar pavilion, one such stall that caught the maximum eye balls is Solar Impulse which is the only solar plane in the world that can fly day and night with a pilot on board without using a drop of fossil fuel. To know more on this aspect the Company claiming this is right now at the 9th Plastivision India 2013 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon. The All India Plastics Manufacturer Other than the solar pavilion, the fair also witnessed pavilions such as the international, medical, state mould, automation, finished goods and UNIDO.
