  • Sri City : – Sri City has been chosen as one of the 100 Most Valuable Brands-2014 by the World Consulting & Research Corporation (WCRC), Asia’s No. 1 Brand Rating & Ranking company. SRI CITY MD RECEIVING THE AWADIn a colourful ceremony held recently at Palladium Hotel, Mumbai, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City received award and a citation. The Coffee Table Book on ‘100 Most Valuable Brands-2014’, that presents the brief details of all the award winning companies was released before the presentation of awards.The ceremony was attended by a galaxy of civic and corporate leaders.

    ‘100 Most Valuable Brands’ project, advised & evaluated by KPMG in India, is the most credible brand rating in India, chosen from 25 different categories.

    Sri City got this award in the category of Infrastructure. Sri City was selected for this award as it imprinted its authority on the Indian market by virtue of its legacy, pristine credibility and enormous customer following. Besides Sri City, other brands that were presented the awarded in the infrastructure category included Asian Paints, Dulux, Greenlam, Tata Steel and Ultra Tech.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abhimanyu Ghosh, Chairman & Editor in Chief, WCRC said, “The ‘100 Most Valuable Brands of the Year’ is our way of recognising Brands in India that have created a remarkable identity of their own and boast of an impressive loyal following.”

    Explaining the criteria of evaluation and process of brand rating, Mr. Siddharth Behal of KPMG, said that the entire procedure involves the most transparent primary & secondary research and consumer survey to establish accurate linkage between the brands and their respective consumers. By awarding these brands, we aim to showcase their success story.

    Commenting after receiving the award, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City said, “I am extremely happy for Sri City being adjudged as the most Valuable brands of the year 2014, within five years of its existence. This recognition serves as an endorsement of the high standards adopted by Sri City to emerge as a leading corporate city.     Terming Sri City as a ‘new age business hub’, the coffee table book mentions, it is on its way to becoming a hub for medium and large scale industries, such as automotive, technology, logistics & warehousing, aerospace, electronics, biotech/pharma, education & training, IT/BPO, sporting equipment &toys, food processing and FMCG, and other eco-friendly industries.
