Ahmedabad:Students from 26 schools across the city engaged in a stiff contest at Srijan 2016, the annual techno–art–literary-dance fiesta hosted by Delhi Public School, Bopal, Ahmedabad. This is a platform conceptualized to put to test, skills in oration, art and programming at an early age.

SRIJAN-2016_Delhi-Public-ScClose to 800 students put in enthusiastic efforts to win the coveted trophy. Categories of activity included Kalayatan, Rang manch, Ganitagya, Nrityanjali, Kishore Vaigyanik, western music and a test of oratory skills.

Kalayatan is a scope to create the best in sculpture while Rang Manch unleashes drama on stage. Ganitagya seeps out the true talent in Math. A highly qualified panel of judges picked the dancing diva on stage during Nrityanjali. Srijan 2016 also provided an opportunity to Kishore Vaigyanik’s to fuel their budding scientific mind and give shape to their quest for discovery through a contest.

“Like in earlier editions, Srijan 2016 was action packed and was a time for students to meet, interact and break away from the regular classroom schedules for a day. The activities were designed keeping in mind our motto to deliver knowledge and tap specific abilities and skills of children at an early age. The competition only helped to bring out the best,” said Shri Surendra P. Sachdeva, Principal, DPS—Bopal, Ahmedabad.

As a friendly gesture, DPS-Bopal, the host school, participated but did not compete in any of the events.
