New Delhi : STIC Travel Group, a leader in the Indian travel tourism industry, has signed an exclusive distributor contract with Europcar, global leader in car rental. The deal was inked today at the ITB Berlin, world’s leading travel trade show.

As an exclusive distributor, STIC Travel Group will bring Europcar’s global products to India, which are now being offered in over 130 countries.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Travel Group, said, “The tie-up with Europcar will allow us to add a unique offering to our existing product portfolio and further strengthen our commitment to bringing the best and finest travel solutions to customers. With the increasing usage of car rentals in India, the timing to offer such services to outbound tourists is ideal. We are also considering advancing Europcar offerings directly to consumers through retail and e-commerce outlets.”

Europcar serves both business and leisure customers and has over 10,000 car hire locations throughout the world. Indian travelers will now be able to book Europcar services in all these locations at attractive local rates through STIC’s network of offices, travel agents and tour operators.
