  • Subhash Dandekar bags Pride of India-Maharashtra award

    Mr. Subhash Dandekar, Chairman Emeritus, Kokuyo Camlin felicitated at the 'Pride of India-Maharashtra' award functionMumbai : Mr. Subhash Dandekar, Chairman Emeritus, Kokuyo Camlin Limited (earlier Camlin Limited), – a pioneering and leading stationery and art material manufacturer of the country  has made India proud by being honoured with the ‘Pride of India- Maharashtra’ award – a novel initiative by WCRC (World Consulting and Research Corporation).  Recipient under the ‘Game Changer’ category, the ‘Pride of India – Maharashtra’ award is conferred to those individuals who have been instrumental in creating a lasting impression in the field of sports, business, politics, literature and the arts.

    Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Subhash Dandekar, Chairman Emeritus, Kokuyo Camlin Limited said, “I am extremely honored to have received this prestigious award. It provides me with an immense satisfaction to know that my little contribution to the society has made a significant difference. On this occasion, I congratulate my fellow winners of the award and would like to share the true spirit of joy with them.”

    The ‘Pride of India – Maharashtra’ award is an initiative organized by WCRC (World Consulting and Research Corporation). KPMG in India formed the Process Advisors & Evaluators for ‘Pride of India- Maharashtra’. The nomination was conducted through rigorous primary and secondary research parameters. Out of 500 organizations shortlisted by the editorial team of Leaders Asia Magazine, only 35 finalists emerged as winners of the coveted award.

    The awards played host to pioneers and innovators from various fields of business and was recently concluded at Hotel Palladium in Mumbai.
