  • New Delhi : Supreme Infrastructure India Limited (SIIL), one of the leading infrastructure companies in India, has bagged work orders worth Rs. 413.50 Cr in its power distribution vertical.

    The company has got two work orders in Bihar.

    The first is a turnkey basis project under 12th plan of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana which entails erection and civil works of material and equipment for village electrification in Supaul district of Bihar. This project was awarded by North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd Patna and valued at Rs. 234.87 crore.

    Awarded by South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd Patna, the second project is a contract worth Rs. 178.62 crore. This project involves the supply of materials and equipment for composite work and equipment, erection, testing and commissioning of 33/11 KV power distribution lines, power sub- station, installation of new DSS and augmentation of DT, R&M of DSS, new LT line and 11 KV line on turnkey basis in Patna and Bhojpur district under special plan (BRGF) Phase II and balance of works in Phase I.

    Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vikram Sharma, Managing Director, Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd said, “We are happy to be part of this development process and these power projects will immensely benefit the people of Bihar. There is a huge power deficit in our country and this project is a small step towards fulfilling that demand.”
