With over 17 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality sector, Mr. Sodhi brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success to his new role. His last role was as the General Manager of Alila Diwa Goa and the Diwa Club, a luxury Hyatt Resort in the last four and a half years.

His illustrious career is punctuated with accolades, including being named the F&B Professional of the Year by Vir Sanghvi in 2016 and his inclusion in Hozpitality’s 30 Most Popular General Managers in India for 2023. Mr. Sodhi’s leadership is characterized by his exceptional team management abilities and inspirational guidance, which have earned him admiration and respect within the industry.

Mr. Sodhi’s journey in the hospitality industry began with a solid foundation in education, having studied at The University of Huddersfield and the Institute of Hotel Management Aurangabad. He honed his skills early on as a Management Trainee in F&B at Hyatt Regency New Delhi, before ascending to pivotal roles such as General Manager – Operations at DLF Restaurants Limited and Director Food and Beverage at Amanresorts and Shangri – La Hotels and Resorts.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Sodhi finds joy in his role as a devoted father to his son Samarveer and maintains a balanced work-life equilibrium with his wife, Marcia. He is also passionate about travel, fitness and exploring diverse cuisines from around the world.
