Pune: To honour the spirit of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship within the organization, Praj Industries announced the winners of the 6th Maha-Intrapreneur Awards today. The innovative entrepreneur Mr. Venky Iyer, MD and CEO of Goli Vada Pav Pvt. Ltd. presented the awards. The awards ceremony was presided over by Padma Bhushan Dr S. B. Mujumdar (Chancellor, Symbiosis International University). The awards were presented in the presence of Executive Chairman of Praj Industries Mr. Pramod Chaudhari Principal Director of Symbiosis Society Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, and Vice-Chancellor of Symbiosis International University Dr. Rajani Gupte.

“An Intrapreneur is known to integrate risk-taking and innovation with corporate management, as well as  reward and motivational techniques, which are more traditionally thought of as being the province of entrepreneurship,” Mr. Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman, Praj Industries said.

“It is this spirit that we recognize through the Maha-Intrapreneur Awards,” he added.

Symbiosis International University is the knowledge partner for the Symbiosis Praj Maha-Intrapreneur Awards.

The awards ceremony was held on 20th of December, 2014 at the Symbiosis Vishwabhavan, SB Road, Pune.
