  • Tamara Leisure Experiences celebrates World Environment Day with the stalwarts of sustainability in India

    Curates a week long conversation series to discuss this year’s theme  ‘Only One Earth – Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature’

     This World Environment Day, to manifest protection of the environment, having conversations about it is going to be the first step. The UN has aptly themed this year’s World Environment Day – Only One Earth – Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature’. Brands and entities understand this more  now than ever and have been forthcoming towards contribution for the greater good.

    Tamara Leisure Experiences (TLE), purveyor of sustainable and responsible hospitality, built on the philosophy to harmonize people and planet will lead this World Environment Day’s narrative through its unique initiative, an Instagram LIVE chat with venerated experts of climate-consciousness from diverse, yet auxiliary industries. This will be TLE’s 2nd edition of dialogues on sustainable change and will be helmed by the CEO of Tamara Leisure Experiences Pvt. Ltd. Shruti Shibulal, starting May 31st 2022 with a culmination on World Environment Day Sunday, 5 June, 2022 over a panel discussion. These social media discussions will collate an insightful canon of use-case specific learnings that inform holistic eco-responsive solutions to urgent, versatile and prescient issues.

    The one week long conversation series will see a powerful line up of sustainability champions

    • 31st May, 4pm-5pm: Vaishnavi Chandrashekhar, Mumbai based journalist (Role of journalism in sustainability)
    • 1st June, 5pm-6pm: Mayas Kumble, Wildlife photographer (Wildlife photography and environment)
    • 2nd June, 4pm-5pm: Sarah Edwards, Founder Copper and Cloves (Sustainability in Food)
    • 3rd June, 4pm-5pm: Poonam Kasthuri, Founder, Designer and Compostwali at Daily Dump (Pursuing an environment friendly lifestyle)
    • 4th June, 4pm-5pm: Vishwanath Srikantaiah, Trustee, Biome Environmental Trust (Efficient use of natural resources in urban planning)
    • 5th June, 4pm-5pm: Panel discussion with Vani Murthy, TEDx speaker and composting enthusiast (importance of zero waste management), Manoj Kumar, Co-founder, Araku Coffee & CEO, Naandi Foundation (Living sustainably with nature)

    While talking about the initiative, CEO, Tamara Leisure Experiences, Shruti Shibulal said, “Our brand is strongly based on the philosophy of responsible hospitality and it is a practice that remains sacrosanct.
