Tanishq, India’s leading jewellery brand today announced the winners for ‘Mia My Expression 2’ – the largest co-creation activity hosted by the brand for their upcoming new work wear collection Mia. With over 10,000 idea submissions online from India and overseas, Tanishq has finally selected its top 10 winners who will shape their inspirations and ideas into reality in the form of Mia collection. Himanshi Sagar and Gayatri Kher from New Delhi are one of the 10 winners of ‘Mia My Expression 2’. Their design ‘Frolic – Let’s Celebrate’ and ‘Puzzled’ respectively caught the attention of jewellery admirers across the city.

Speaking on the occasion, the winners Himanshi Sagar and Gayatri Kher said, “We are delighted to see our design make it to the top 10 designs list. We want to thank Tanishq for coming up with something unique like ‘My Expression 2’ which gave young and aspirational designers like us, an opportunity to do something innovative and see our imagination become a final product. We are confident our designs will be admired by jewellery lovers and working women in New Delhi and outside.”

Hemanshi loves to celebrate every small occasion and moment of her life. Her design ‘Frolic’ is also inspired from the theme – celebration to add gleam in their work wear jewellery. On the other hand, Gayatri’s design has many dimensions to her piece ‘Puzzled’. This piece is a fitting tribute to the woman of today and is inspired by a puzzle. Wherein different pieces can be put together in different ways to make different patterns or shapes.

‘My Expression 2’ has acted as a stepping stone for budding jewellery designers across the world. This year the top 100 ideas qualified basis the number of ranks that each idea garnered online along with the ranks given by the jury. The 3-member jury comprised of Revathi Kant, Associate Vice President – Design, Innovation and Development, Tanishq, Shimul Mehta Vyas, Mentor, Textile Apparel and Accessory Design, National Institute of Design (NID) and Nisha Jhagiani, Fashion Director, VERVE. The final 10 winners will see their ideas culminating into actual jewellery pieces in the next collection of Mia along with a prize money of INR 1,00,000.
