Mumbai: Tata AIA Life Insurance Company (Tata AIA Life) has added a new member to its senior management team with the appointment of Mr. Vishal Kumar Bandlish as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Based in the Company’s headquarters at Mumbai, Mr. Bandlish shall report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. As the CFO, he will be responsible for the Company’s financial operations and will lead a team of professionally qualified individuals.

Commenting on his new role Mr. Bandlish said, “I’m honored to have served the Organization for several years and am excited to continue to serve in my new role. Amid various changes in the Insurance Industry, this new role offers many opportunities and challenges and I hope my years of experience with the Organization and the Financial Services industry will guide me in the future. I look forward to working as part of the Tata AIA Life leadership team.”

Mr. Bandlish joined Tata AIA Life in 2004 and has previously held senior financial positions in the Company. He has been instrumental in establishing strong accounting and reporting controls in his role as Finance Comptroller. He has been a key contributor in implementation of ERP solutions and in getting the Finance function ISO 9001-2008 certified.

Mr. Bandlish brings to his position nearly 20 years of experience working with a variety of financial consulting firms with operations around the world.

Mr. Bandlish is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Bachelor of Law (LLB). He also has a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI-LOMA, USA) certification to his credit.
