  • TCS Launches the ‘TCS Belief Song’ as an extension to its Building On Belief Brand Positioning

    CHENNAI : In a one-of-a-kind move, Tata Consultancy Services, a leading global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, has launched a song, the ‘TCS Belief Song’, which is built on the proposition of belief as we all find a way to embrace the ‘new normal.’ The song, which is now live on all its social channels, has been conceptualized and produced by Team #OneTCS and performed by singer & composer Siddharth Mahadevan & Jonita Gandhi. The song serves as an anthem as the world gears up for a fresh start and emphasizes the joy of human connection as we together steer towards a new tomorrow. It features TCS employees and their families, whom the company believes, are its best brand ambassadors.

    “What better way than a song to express the words and emotions of half a million TCSers as we emerge out of this pandemic and look forward to the world ahead of us. The song is an expression of our belief and hope for a better tomorrow, a symbol of our togetherness and is an ode to scientists, doctors, front line workers and countless others who are turning the tide;” said Rajashree R, CMO, TCS. “The video features TCS associates and their family members from all walks of life doing what they love- running, cooking, dancing, spending time with nature etc. The ‘TCS Belief Song’ plays a key role in the next stage of activating our new brand statement to the world. It is crafted to stimulate passion, inspiration, and strength, representing our global workforce. It is our unique way of shouting out to the world and sharing our belief that we can bring in a brighter future together!”

    In March 2021, TCS launched its new brand statement, Building On Belief, to articulate its mission and relationship with customers as it embarks on its next decade of transformation-led growth. The new brand vision encapsulates the active and collaborative role TCS plays in partnering with customers over the long term, leveraging its contextual knowledge, investments in research and innovation, and technology expertise to help them grow and achieve their purpose-led transformation goals. It also reflects TCS’s belief that it, along with its customers, can harness collective knowledge to innovate in ways that result in better futures for individuals, communities, and the planet.

    Siddharth Mahadevan, Singer & Composer, said, “The inspiration for the lyrics of the song came from the innate belief that there is hope for humanity despite the challenging times we are facing now. The song or anthem was our call to the people, keeping this hope at the center. I’m glad that the TCS song has had a global launch. To my mind that’s a first for any corporate. So, kudos to the entire TCS team!”
