Hyderabad: Tech Mahindra organised Ekatvam 2014, its annual associate event welcoming the New Year with bonhomie and camaraderie. About 13,000 associates (employees) gathered at the 271 acre Tech Mahindra Technology Centre (TMTC), and spent the evening enjoying with their families. The theme for Ekatvam 2014 was ‘Connected World’, which is consistent with the overall brand mantra of the company and clearly and truly describes the mood such events are host to set. The event was organised by Team Josh and the Corporate Services Team of TechMahindra, Hyderabad.

The event held at the TMTC, Bahadurpally this weekend saw stellar performances by the associates along with a Fashion Show by JOSH Kala Club. To add to the extravaganza, Leaders Walk was the highlight of the show, where TechMahindra’s Chief People’s Officer Rakesh Soni, Chief Marketing Officer Hari T, Deputy Chief Marketing Officer Indranil Ganguly, Location Manager Rajendra Tunuguntha, Location Council Head B.K. Mishra, Indra Munjuluri, Kavita Lal, Vinay Agrawal and Tech Mahindra BSG CEO Vijay Rangineni walked the ramp with their undeniable poise and demeanor.

Renowned comedian ‘VIP’ of Comedy Circus fame enthralled the crowds with his mimicry and gimmicks. Roars of laughter and applause filled the atmosphere. The Indian Rock Band Euphoria upped the energy quotient of the evening with their peppy numbers. The audience had a great time shaking their legs to the music, the band kept pumping energy till the curtains came down. The event was followed by dinner which consisted of varieties considering the wide range of cultures at Tech Mahindra.

Speaking on the occasion, an exuberant Sharat Choudhury, a new joinee in TMTC, Bahadurapally said, “Fun…Party…Dhoom! Never thought my first ever party in my professional job would be so great”. Spandana Galam, who witnessed the 3rd Ekatvam event in succession, said that it is a wonderful avenue to get along with family and the entire atmosphere was enjoyable! Every year the event just gets along bigger and better, she added.

The grandeur of the event and the unparallel spirit of celebration were etched upon many memories with the employees to take home!
