  • Paris :  The La Mancha Group, an international gold producer, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new management team, joining

    Sébastien de Montessus who was appointed as President and CEO of the Group in August 2012. The arrival of this new management team, with extensive experience in the industrial and mining sectors, will enable La Mancha’s new growth strategy, aimed at achieving a four-fold increase in gold production by 2016, to be successfully implemented.

    Dominique Delorme, 61, appointed as Technical Director and Deputy CEO of La Mancha.

    Dominique Delorme has extensive knowledge of the gold mining industry due to his successful 35-year career. After beginning his career as a mining and exploration geologist in Africa and France, he held various positions within the Areva group. First responsible for gold and uranium exploration, he was successively appointed as General Manager of worldwide gold assets, Vice-President Technical and Projects, and Vice-President Strategy for the group’s mining division. In 2006, Dominique Delorme led the listing of Areva and La Mancha’s gold assets on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Delorme has been a Director of La Mancha from 2007 to 2012. In 2009 he took over as President and CEO of La Mancha and successfully piloted the sale of the Company in 2012.

    Dominique Delorme graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie (Nancy, France).

    Imad Toumi has over 20 years of experience in managing industrial projects in the energy and mining sectors. After starting his career at CEA, he joined Areva in 2002 at the La Hague plant where he notably managed the production and project programs. In 2007, he joined Areva’s mining division as Director of Projects, in charge of a €3B portfolio for the development of mining projects in Africa and Kazakhstan. As a Board member of Areva Mines, he managed the AREVA South African subsidiary and was a Board member of many other mining companies. In 2011, he became General Director of Areva in Niger, a country where Areva produces more than 40% of its global uranium production.

    Mr. Toumi graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique. He also holds a PhD from Université Paris 6 and an executive MBA from HEC.

    sectors. He started his career in 1990 as an auditor and consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In 1994, he joined the Bull Information Systems group as Head of Investor Relations and responsible for privatisation operations. In September 2001, he joined AREVA as Financial Communications Director and was in charge of the IPO project. Prior to joining La Mancha, he worked at France Telecom where he acted as Head of Investor Relations & Strategy from 2006 to 2010, and subsequently as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions.

    Mr. Benoit graduated from ESC-Bordeaux Business School and is a Chartered Accountant.

    Patrick Bouisset, 54, appointed as Executive Vice-President, Exploration & New Ventures.

    M. Bouisset has over 30 years of experience in exploration in O&G and mining. After more than 20 years spent overseas during his career at Total, he headed the group’s exploration activities in Africa. He joined AREVA in 2007 as Vice President Geoscience of its Business Group. For 6 years, as a member of the executive Committee of AREVA Mines, he led the company’s worldwide exploration activities and managed all its pre-production subsidiaries.     affiliates. M. Bouisset holds a Master’s degree in Geology from Orleans University, and graduated from ESEM and ENSPM. He was a board member of the French National School of Geology (Nancy).
